非常にセンス良く構築された"言葉と音"のミュージックコンクレートと、実験小説の制作に勤しむフィンランド地下界の注目作家Taneli Viljanen。今まで本国の面白レーベルPaiからのみ音源を出していましたが今回Glistening Examplesより初の他レーベル作をリリース。やり過ぎずまた詰め込み過ぎない、程よい密度の空間と物語性が混じり合った絶妙な4曲。



Metallisilmä, Haaksirikko is a composition in four parts; an assemblage created out of many disparate and heterogenous sound sources.
It seeks to find meaning and poetic sparks of beauty in the tensions between several different binaries:
between the musical and the nonmusical,
between the mundane and the uncanny,
between the objective and the subjective,
between the abstract and the visceral.

Taneli Viljanen is a Finnish artist working mainly with words and sound. They have previously published three tapes of music and four books of experimental fiction.
