UK在住の作家 赤間涼子 氏のレーベルMelange Edition第四弾！！2015年11月にmumeiより出版された言葉と音の本、FOUR。そのリリースイベントが英国ハダスフィールドとロンドンでに行われた。参加者は今やバンドルバイザーの作曲家として一線を生きる ヤーグフレイを始め9人の音楽家、作曲家またビジュアルアーティスト。時空と空間を構成する沈黙 と空間を述べるがごとく、音、言葉に関わる思想、ソニックアート、音楽、文学をごちゃ混ぜにした 11作品がFOURに刻まれる。3日間に渡るイベントは動とと無動の世界、また読むと言う意識と聞 くという内面的な意識を表現した。

races of FOUR is a collection of recordings selected from the performances of reductive journal’s UK book launch tour to celebrate their first monograph, FOUR. The book itself contains eleven artworks that linger in between categories of critical thinking, sonic art, music, visual arts, and literature articulating silence and space. The performances capture the spirit of the book, underscoring notions of activity and non-activity, and the relationship between reading and inner-listening practices.
