Sounds of nature with gentle instrumental accompaniment

Through this album, I wish to invite the listener to accompany me on an evocative journey. A journey toward rediscovering harmony, beauty and solace, toward returning from „experience” to „innocence”, toward reclaim- ing the forgotten childlike joy and the ability to marvel at the smallest things.

On this path, we will be guided by the sounds of nature, recorded in various locations in Poland. We will listen to the sea, the river, the trees, the rain, the snow and to the birds. Let us hope that the deeper we listen, the more we understand of what is truly important, good and wise.
The natural sounds presented on this album have been enriched by several musical instruments such as male tanpura (India), bansuri (India), quena (the Andes), sopilka (Ukraine), sansula (Africa), koshi bells (France) as well as orchestral bells and piano. The instrumental accompaniment remains deliberately minimalist, so as not to overshadow the quiet, humble sounds of nature.

With one exception, the instruments do not play a defined melody, as melody might draw attention to itself and distract us from the charms and intricacies of the natural soundscapes. Instead, these instruments serve as a gentle, embracing presence — an affirmation that enhances and uplifts the voices of nature, allowing them to shine in their true splendor.

Here, the music of the natural world and the music created by human hands unite to awaken our feelings, expand our hearts, and bring peace to a weary, troubled world.
