超高内容の名演!!当店にて諸作を何度も紹介して来た鈴木彩文氏と岡川怜央氏の共同録音が、国内レーベルzappakの初のLP音源として登場!!マスタリングはGiuseppe Ielasi!!

zappakは、初めてのリイシュープロジェクトとして、2021年にFaltよりカセットで発表された鈴木彩文と岡川怜央による[Undercurrent / Wanderlust]をレコードにてリリースする。本作は鈴木彩文による即興演奏の記録としては非常に最初期にあたるもので、収録されているいずれの演奏も、ヴォイスの有機的な部分とエレクトロニクスの無機的な部分が非常に美しく融合したデュオの録音となっている。
今回のレコード化に際して、Giuseppe Ielasiがオリジナル音源からの音質最適化を、Rutger Zuydervelt (Machinefabriek)がバックカバーのデザインを担当した。なお、オーナーである岡川の作品を取り扱うことは、このレーベルにおいて最初で最後の機会となることであろう。

As its inaugural reissue project, zappak releases [Undercurrent / Wanderlust]— originally published on cassette by Falt in 2021—on vinyl. This work captures a very early instance of improvisational performances by Ayami Suzuki and Leo Okagawa; the recordings beautifully blend the organic qualities of the human voice with the inorganic nature of electronics. For this vinyl release, Giuseppe Ielasi handled the audio optimization from the original source material, while Rutger Zuydervelt (also known as Machinefabriek) designed the back cover. Notably, this will likely be the first and last time the label releases a work by its own owner, Okagawa.
