限定100部、奇怪なエレクトロアコースティック？コラージュ？もの!! 英Purgeの出版物としては珍しいCDフォーマット作!!当店レーベルからAnne Gillisとのセッション作を出版しているSeymour Wright、Crystabel Efemena Riley、Edward George、演奏家と美術作家によるプロジェクトxcrswegx。ロンドン大学の付属研究所"ウォーバーグ研究所"で開催された、アフリカ系の人々の描写を記録した3万点以上の画像コレクションによる展覧会[Black Atlas]の閉幕に合わせて制作した音源が作品化。既存音源の拝借、テキスト朗読、即興演奏、電子音の投下、予測不能の混沌とした展開が格好良い43分。



xcrswegx (a dedication) is Edward George, Crystabel Efemena Riley, Seymour Wright. This limited edition CD has been produced to coincide with the end of Edward George’s Warburg Institute exhibition, titled Black Atlas. The recording was made at Cafe Oto, London, as 'a pre echo(ic) memory moves memory space (inputs) imagined, open (looser), music (after film process and re-emotioned back into ourselves).'
