巨匠コンポーザーの楽曲にインスパイアされた音源!!限定50部のフィジカル版、ナンバリング入り!!2006年に他界した後も多くの名作が発表され続けている、ケージやフェルドマン同様アメリカ前衛シーンの重要人物の一人であった重鎮James Tenney。氏の作品[In a Large Open Space]にインスパイアされ、集団パフォーマンスによるフィールドレコーディングから作り上げた、コンポーザーLudovico Francoのソロ・アルバム[Open Field]。13名の演者の演奏を用い壮大な音風景を作り出した聴覚探求作。

Open Field is an auditory exploration that intertwines field recordings and electronic processing, crafting a sonic landscape that immerses the listener in expansive, resonant spaces.

The album’s seven tracks originate from the field recordings of a collective performance inspired by James Tenney’s "In a Large Open Space", subsequently reimagined through layering and electronic manipulation.

The performance was organized by Cosimo Fiaschi in conjunction with the exhibition umwelten – ambienti, curated by Valeria De Siero.
