やっと入荷!!何年にも渡り米国内をツアー、総勢20名程で変則的に活動するエクスペリメンタル即興集団Crazy Dobermanの2nd LP!!今や超人気作家となったAaron Dillowayも所属したWolf Eyesの中心人物John Olsonも作家するグループであり、その演奏形態はフリージャズ、リチュアル、ミュージックコンクレート、ファウンドサウンドが程よく崩壊し融合する雑多な音塊。本作は17名編成というかなりの大所帯で挑んだ記録物で、この大人数でありながらも一つ一つのテイクを緻密な構造で進める激クールな演奏内容。メチャクチャ良いです。







Penumbra, from the Latin paene (almost) and umbra (shadow), refers to the partially luminescent fringe of an opaque object, like the streetlight outlining the sole of a shoe hurtling towards your eye. Hypnagogic, from the Greek hupnos (sleep) and agōgos (leading), refers to the drowsy state before sleep. Crazy Doberman here comprises 17 players from the greater Europe of the Midwest.
