主に現代音楽、実験音楽、即興音楽の未知のアーティストを手掛けるテキサスSawyer Editionsの出版物。主にグラフィックスコアを用いた作曲活動を行うコンポーザーSophie Stoneのデビュー作。同じ図形楽譜で演奏されたヴィオラ、オルガン、チェロ、ピアノによる4つ録音が収録されており、どれも徹底して絞り込んだサウンドスケープの様な仕上がり。ほぼ気配の様な音像で進行する虚無的なイメージも有り。マルタックスリーヴを使ったハンドメイドパッケージ。







Amalgamations is a series of compositions of the
same graphic score for various instrumentation.
The piece explores quiet, slowly changing and
overlapping sustained and repeated ideas, with the
possibility of silences and long durations.
