初期はCornelius Cardewも参加した事で知られる、1960年代半ばに英国で結成された伝説的フリーミュージック・アンサンブルAMM。オリジナルは1987年にMatchless RecordingsよりLPフォーマットでリリースされた名作[The Inexhaustible Document]。本作は約15分程長い完全テイクを収録した1994年出版のCD復刻版。Eddie Prevost、John Tilbury、Keith Rowe、そして現音チェリストのRohan de Saramによるカルテット編成で挑んだロンドン・ユニオン・チャペルでのパフォーマンス記録。進行と共に音の密度や抑揚が分厚く変貌して行くシンプルにカッコイイ長編です。
