イタリアのギタリストであるM. Beckmannが自身の考えるローカルなアンビエンスを伝えるべく、エクスペリメンタル、アンビエント、環境音、ドローン、ポストロックを織り交ぜたスタイルにて立ち上げた個人プロジェクトThe Volume Settings Folder。各タイトル限定50部で統一、一つ一つ異なる手作りのパッケージデザインが美しいセルフシリーズ。程よくノスタルジーなサウンドスケープ、変則な動きが心地良いギター音響、更には気配の様な音像までをやってのける素晴らしい音楽性の持ち主。本作は2021年6月に出版した2枚組CD-R作[Pastorage Sights]。美しいリフを軸にユラユラと幽玄な音風景を描いた全100分超えの大作。封筒型スリーヴをシーリングワックス留めした美しいデザインのパッケージ。アートワークカードが付属。





In these days when we all start our lives anew, where cities burst with life and everybody is eager to live a life that resembles normality, I find pressure, stress, fears to be just around the corner.

Everybody is asked for more. Because we need to make up for the time, money, experiences we lost during such an awful past year.

So this album is a very condensed display, although over 100 minutes long, of how I cope with all this. And I hope you will chill as well while listening it.
