90年代初頭にハードコアバンドのギタリストとして活動を開始、その後様々な名義を使い実験的な手法で音作りを展開していく米作家Nick Forte。緑茶が幻覚を引き起こす可能性があるという自身の信念をユニット名としたGreen Teaとしての1stアルバム[Snowblower]。無骨なノイズ及び物音を広大なサウンドスケープ的イメージと融合、サイケデリックなダークアンビエントして完成させた非常に質の高い没入型作品。ヘビーでありながらも冷たく澄んだ空気が不思議な感覚へと導いてくれます。







New Forces is proud to present "Snowblower," the debut album from Green Tea, a new project from Nick Forté (Rorschach, Raspberry Bulbs, Half Mortal). Drawing inspiration from the writing of Sheridan Le Fanu and the belief that green tea could make one hallucinate, Forté describes Green Tea as a psychedelic harsh noise project that merges noise techniques with ambient and new age music. Incredibly refined for a debut, "Snowblower" is 8 tracks of crushing ambient noise. There are moments on Snowblower that evoke a thrashier C.C.C.C. and others that conjure droning deep-space soundscapes. An immersive listening experience that will keep you coming back for more.
