バルト三国の一つであるエストニア。その南部にあるスモークサウナで有名なセト地方の民謡であるセトレーロの録音集。基本複数の女性および男性による合唱で、中心となる歌い手の言葉をほかのメンバーが繰り返し重ねる様に歌い上げるという形態。数世紀に渡り受け継がれ音色、レパートリーも豊富に進化しているらしく、本作ではなんと1930年代の録音から現代ものまでが網羅されています。
