2014年発表の前作[Place Sub. V.]がかなりの高評価だった、現在ではEddie Prevost & John Tilburyのデュオ編成で活動しているAMM。自身等のMatchless Recordingsから発表の2015年作品[Spanish Fighters]。2012年スロベニアでのテイクをそのまま収録、繊細なバランスちょっとした"恐さ"が同居する暗がりの中に浮かび上がる極上の音。

Recorded at the festival Neposlusno (Sound Disobedience) in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2012, the AMM duo of Eddie Prevost on percussion and John Tilbury on piano perform an extend improvisation of tension and dynamic, delicately balancing sound in a rich dialog. Incidentally, the title of the album is the name of the venue (Spanski Borci in which the concert was recorded. Both artists felt a certain respect playing in a place with references to the Spanish Civil War and the fascism that prevailed in Spain, which influenced both of their lives, no doubt influencing their playing on this exceptional evening.
