90年代初頭はインダストリアル・バンドTole Acheとしても活動し、現在ではマニアック・レーベルBreak The Lineを主宰するDavid Dufourのソロ・プロジェクトDeufの2001年録音作品。テープ・レコーダー、メタル・ジャンク、ピアノ、エレクトロニクスを用いた音響作品で、徐々に電子音が絡み派手な展開となる46分の大作と、ピアノを引き延ばした分厚い振動系の15分の音響作、2トラックの収録。

DEUF is a nickname for David Dufour. First founding the industrial band Tole-Ache in 1991, he changed his music to electronic experimental styles in 2001. La respiration du métal is an electronic composition for tape recorders, oscillators and voice, made in October 2001. This release is rounded up by a second composition, Piano. Elysée 2000, an improvisation played by Deuf on an absolutely destroyed and detuned piano in France 2000.
