1959年にFolkwaysから2枚組のLPボックスでリリースされたあまりにも有名なJohn Cage & David Tudorの名作[Indeterminacy]。テキストを読み上げるケージとピアノ&テープにて爆音を発し続けるチュードアによる名演ですが、演奏された記録/録音は残っておらず、本作は丁度ケージの生誕100年を記念してひっそりと(?)制作されていた女性ピアニストSusanne Kesselと、朗読担当のJoachim Krolによるリアライズ。ピアノ内部のソロ演奏とケージのテープ名作[Fontana Mix]を使った演奏で、淡々としたテキストにイカツイ打鍵やらゴリゴリの電子音が点描的に投下される説明不要の超傑作。大推薦。
