プライベート音源のストックを発見!!60年代末にBob Downes Open Music等を立ち上げ活動を開始、個人、バンドに関わらず様々な実験スタイルのジャズやコンテンポラリー作品を残したフルート/サックス奏者のBob Downes。人知れず98年からひっそりとプライベートシリーズとして出ていた[The Inner Universe]の第三弾。グラスフルート、尺八、銅鑼という編成で、多重録音中心だった前二作をスタイル受け継ぎつつ本作にはエフェクター使用の音源も登場。

The soothing chant of the magic mantra "OM" creates a vast ocean like sound. With various flutes and saxophones Bob Downes merges into the quietly moving waves. The natural sound of the instruments, the choice of melodies, the subtle use of overtones communicates with the energies, free from specific time or cultures. The listener is gently led into his own "Inner Universe".
