プライベート音源のストックを発見!!60年代末にBob Downes Open Music等を立ち上げ活動を開始、個人、バンドに関わらず様々な実験スタイルのジャズやコンテンポラリー作品を残したフルート/サックス奏者のBob Downes。人知れず98年からひっそりとプライベートシリーズとして出ていた[The Inner Universe]の第二弾。フルートのみならず尺八、口琴、南米の陶器笛までを取り入れた、第一弾と比べ躍動感が増した内容となっています。

The soothing chant of the magic mantra "OM" creates a vast ocean like sound. With various flutes and saxophones Bob Downes merges into the quietly moving waves. The natural sound of the instruments, the choice of melodies, the subtle use of overtones communicates with the energies, free from specific time or cultures. The listener is gently led into his own "Inner Universe".
