全種異なる手書きのアートワーク仕様！！70年代よりMilo Fine Free Jazz Ensembleの多名盤を残して来たShih Shih Wu Aiが1999年に初のCDタイトルとしてリリースした3枚組作品。Milo Fine Free Jazz Ensembleの録音ブツとしてはかなり人数の多い"6名編成"にて行われた、1998年に二晩に渡り行われた即興コンサートの記録。電子加工に加えエグいシンセサイザーも複雑に絡み合うかなりの高密度なエレクトロアコースティック。大推薦。

in 1998, after attending close to every one of the ensembles bimonthly concerts at the west bank school of music for well over a decade, michael mann decided the group was long overdue for the opportunity to once again present its work in a concert hall. (the school, you see, is actually an old house; the ensemble presenting its work in the "living room".) so, he booked a hall on a local college campus for "two evenings of improvised music", wherein milo fine and steve gnitka, the nucleus of the ensemble, collaborated with four of their most stalwart associates -- scott newell, john obrien, elliot fine and jason s. shapiro -- in trio and quartet formats. he also made arrangements for the event to be recorded. thus, this triple cd features the vast majority of the music played during those two evenings.
