英Horn of Plentyが発掘した自国の実験バンドによる2nd!!美しいリソグラフ印刷のパッケージで作品リリースを展開した英サウンドアートレーベルHideous Replica。ここの立ち上げ人であるLouie Riceを中心に00年代にロンドンで結成、現在はノリッジに拠点を移し廃墟となったショッピングセンターのスタジオを借りて活動しているトリオバンドGerm Latticeの2nd作。自身らのスタジオの向かいにある老朽化したスタジオの取り壊し現場にインスパイアされ制作した10インチ作[Corpusty]。ベース、ドラム、ヴォイス、シンセサイザーをライブ・テープマニピュレーションで操作、演奏とプレイバックが一つとなりノイジーに移ろいゆく振り切れた構造が格好良い一枚。






Norwich trio Germ Lattice - Joe Barton, Micky Donnelly & Louie Rice - follow 2024’s Gipping Through the Ages LP with Corpusty, written in a new studio, poised to watch the demolition of their old space from across the street.

Each track unfolds in real time, combining bass, drums, voice and synthesiser with live tape manipulation, performance and playback is blurred into one shifting surface.

Corpusty moves slowly through collapse and renewal, ending with the thirteen-minute drift of Old Glory finally yielding under its own weight.

Presented as a limited 10” EP featuring a photo by Glen Jamieson from a collaborative project with Rob Filby, exploring Norwich's medieval walls.
