フランス在住のBruno Duplantは非常に多作な作家であり、これまでにRhizome.sやInexhaustible Editions、Another Timbre、Moving Furniture Records、Granny Records、Sublime Retreat、Unfathomlessなどのレーベルから100を超える作品を発表している。
[rien de ça (なにもない)]と題された本作はフィールドレコーディングや電子機器を使用した長尺の作品となっており、ピアノの打鍵とさまざまなフィールドレコーディングによる多層的なコラージュで幕を開ける。その後、存在感のある電子音が混ざり合い、徐々に不穏で抽象的な電子音響へと変容していく。そこには確かななにかがあり、そしてまた、なにもない。全体的には静的だが、極めて強度のある作品に仕上がっている。



France-based Bruno Duplant is a quite prolific composer / musician who released over 100 albums on various labels such as Rhizome.s, Inexhaustible Editions, Another Timbre, Moving Furniture Records, Granny Records, Sublime Retreat, and Unfathomless.
This work titled [rien de ça (English: none of that)] is one long track album using field recordings and electronics. It brings the opening of piano strokes and a multi-layered collage of field recordings. After that, electronic sounds come in and gradually the whole sounds come to change to the abstract atmosphere filled with electroacoustic moods. There is something definite, and also, nothing is there. The overall is static, but it is extremely powerful.
