かなりの高評価を受けた2019年1stアルバム[Ziadba]にて注目を浴び、そしてその翌年に発表されたフルート奏者Manuel Zurriaの集大成2CDアルバムにて名曲[Kvarteto]がカバーされた、自国の民謡、ブラックメタル、ジャズ、そしてペルトやフェルドマンからの影響を語るスロバキアの作曲家Adrian Democ。英Another Timbreからは3作目となる管弦楽アルバム[Neha]をリリース。平均律以外のナチュラルハーモニクスを使い、和音で重ね合わせる事で揺らめくような緊張感を生み出した表題曲、単一の旋律から発展しわずかな変化を伴い繰り返されるミニマル作[Popinava Hudba]、毎度の如くスッと沁み入る美しい楽曲。





Two orchestral works by Adrián Demoč, the highly-acclaimed Slovak composer currently based in Spain.

The title track 'Neha' (2018) creates a shimmering tension by overlaying 'well-tempered' chords with the same chords using natural harmonics outside of the tempered tuning system. This doubling creates a gentle trembling of interferences.

The second piece, 'Popínavá hudba', evolves from a single melodic line, which is repeated with slight variations such that it curves and is bent into fascinatingly irregular shapes, growing like a climbing plant.
